My record time of 57.26 for the arm-less back stroke was quite satisfying.  The laps consisted of ½ armless back stroke, and ½ modified breast.  Modified in that I move my arms, but not to the limit of their extension, thus avoiding stress and allowing my shoulder to heal.
My shoulder is nearly painless, but I am continuing to take it easy—letting full recovery transpire.
The swimming in Moscow was at the American Embassy compound.  The pool is smaller than the one in Tirana—my record for ½ lap armless backstroke is evidence of this abbreviated pool.  Here in the gym area, I found a pull-up bar.  I performed three with aplomb.  Thoughts came into my head that possibly, since I throughout the winter and spring, I was doing all pull-ups and push-ups, maybe the muscles in my shoulders were not developing in balance.  Maybe this is why I strained a muscle, and also felt some tightness.  So in Tirana, I will use my stretchy bands, and my yoga, in addition to the pull-ups and push-ups.
