ghostbusters, war museum, a service station

Words 181; 10 pics
I ran today with a travel book in my pocket.  I tried to find some nice natural places.  I ended up finding a museum that was pretty interesting.  The theme was Russian/Soviet political  history since the revolution in 1905.  This revolution was a precursor to the Bolshevik Revolution that brought the Communists to power.

Lenin sitting peacefully in the middle of spring flowers.
I also ran around a park.  In the park was a large statue of Lenin sitting on a chair.  He looks quite relaxed and contented.  As I walked around  the chair, I noticed his view from the chair.  He is quite happily gazing benevolently at the World Trade Center.  Ah, what sweet irony!  To have V. I. Lenin lovingly viewing a symbol of capital decadence.

From behind Lenin.

Ah!  What sweet irony!  Lenin gazing calmly at a modern symbol of everything  anti-socialistic:  The World Trade Center.  If you can't read the top of the building, click on the picture and it will get bigger.

Ghostbusters
"Well, I found the car."
This is a store-front window in downtown Moscow.  Makes a person wonder what kind of service these girls are offering.
