I ran slowly up the stairs once, as a warmup. Then I
sprinted up the second time. I achieved my quickest time on record. Even better
than the post Dynamic Meditation glory day.
I got up at 2:30 in the morning to watch the Super Bowl.
I was thinking about going to a pub that is sort of nearby. Moscow recently began operating four
trolleybuses 24 hours a day. I knew that one went right by 'my' metro station.
But when I investigated a bit and learned that it went from here DIRECTLY to
the pub I had in mind, I knew that I must be a spectator.
The place I went to watch was a 1950’s-style dinner. I sat beside one guy sitting by himself. We kind of looked at each other for a second.
I said, “Do I know you?”
He, “No. I don’t know you.”
I, “Wait a minute.
I bought a book from you last spring.”
He wrote a book about a romance between an American and a Russian
lady. It’s probably a bit
autobiographical because he is married to a Russian woman who he met through “Hot
Russian Brides.com.” What a terrible
excuse for a football game.
