I woke up
at 6 today, completely refreshed. The
sun filled the sky—I almost said it was high overhead—not true. Hence, I saw no reason why I shouldn’t go for
a run. All went well until the third set
of pull-ups. Just as I was about to
start,
I pulled a muscle in my neck—or something. It was one of those warm feelings that comes with what seems like a ‘thickening’ of the flesh. Such an event makes it difficult to turn the head. As you can see above, I did 8 pull-ups and decided it was painful, so I quit. The arm presses, leg ups, and squats were not bothersome so I did customary amounts of those.

While
running, I saw my favorite breed of dog again.
I ran toward him and his owner to take his picture. Here it is:
After great
expulsion of effort, I achieved a result in the mid-run sprint between 1 minute
and 1:01 again. I’m left again saying
that it is amazing that I finish in a time that is so close to the same every
time. Think of it! To run for 60 seconds and then stop the watch
within a second of the same time every time is remarkable.
