The
flatness of Vegas was a welcome venue for the run this morning. It was also wildly hot…even at 8 in the
morning. I was wondering if there is
such a thing as the Las Vegas Marathon.
Last night, we walked around Vegas—the MGM Grand Hotel, facade of NY City, Statue of Liberty, etc. We strolled around the gambling floors. The boys talked about the terrible reputation of gambling. I asked an older woman if we could change our dime into pennies and play 10 times. “No. The least one is 30 cents.” I understood that we simply couldn’t play for a penny. We walked out with the same dime.
