Ran along
the same route, trying to finish in less than 60 minutes. On the way back, I took the bike trail from
the ice cream shop and then along 62nd and back through Dewey
Park.
I added a bit to the route—that is probably why I didn’t make it under an hour. The route I took keeps me away from the streets and the exhaust. Only once did I have to cross Merle Hay Road. It was right after I finished the sprint near Dad’s apartment—so I was really out of breathe. I stuck my hand up and scampered across the road; I was far enough away that the cars didn’t have to slow down. No one honked at me.

My sprints
were quite a bit slower than my records of two days ago…it may have been
because I was listening to my Russian language lessons. Music puts me in the mind of sprinting.
