Tom Bodet

So it may look from the date above that I took three days off.  Not really.  I tried to run Sunday morning—my regularly scheduled run date—but the rain/snow was coming down and the snow that had built up a bit was melting, so there was a terrible amount of water on the sidewalks and streets.
I couldn’t go far without getting a shoe full of icy water.  I came in after running around the block.
Tonight, I went running.  When I got home, the rain had been light for several hours so there wasn’t too much on the streets and sidewalks.  The temperature was about 8!—it’s really 3, but it felt like 8.  Three degrees Celsius is 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
Anyway, I had a great time running.  There was hardly any traffic so I could run right in the street where the water had run off very well.  I ran straight to my favorite ‘super-thin’ pull-up bar.  As you can see above, I didn’t do any pull-ups because the play ground around the bar is like a swamp.  I DID do three 1-minute sprints.  What made the trip especially good was the fact that I had a fresh episode of Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me in my ears.  Not so funny, but my favorite humorist, Tom Bodet, was one of the panalists.
