Yes, -6 is
noticeably colder than 0. For all you residents
of the modernity-challenged ‘greatest country in the world,’ -6 is about 21° F. I
wore two long-sleeved t-shirts today and a stocking hat. I sweat a bit; so I could probably have
gotten along with only one such shirt.
The hat was a good addition to my wardrobe. I broke the record for the second-best time
in the mid-run sprint.
I listened
today to a Talk of the Nation podcast interview with Billy Connolly—a Scottish comedian. He had a great joke at the beginning. Anyone
who has studied or who will be studying slightly complicated mathematics, like
my son soon, will find the bit about algebra hilarious.
