running through concrete

Words 145
I love to see those zeros!  I think I was the most weary of any run after the mid-run sprint.  I started out very fast, putting everything into it.  By the time I was finished, I was pulling the ankles out of thick concrete.  I wish I could see myself as I finish—it feels like I am putzing along at a snail’s pace.  I knew I needed to run quickly,
because I planned to buy some strawberries at the market, so I didn’t want to have to run all 16 flights of stairs.  Therefore, I needed to break 1 minute 1 second—and I did, buy a comfortable .46 seconds.  Then I even told myself that if I do 15 pullups and 15 squats, I don’t even have to do that 6 flights.  Well, I did the 6 flights anyway.
            Feeling good!
