Ran to and from a lesson this morning.  It was the first trip outside since real snow has fallen.  It was fun. But cold.  The other day as I was climbing the escalator, I passed another guy making good progress up the steps.  He was taking two steps at a time.  He was a tall, lanky fellow—probably would be very good on the Ultimate Frisbee field—who looked like what I used to call a ‘daddy long-legs’ spider.
I was hitting every step, as usual. He heard me coming up behind him and moved over a bit to let me pass.
