DFS
Words 158
Wore only one layer of gloves today, so my fingers are stinging again. My stocking hat made sweat trickle down into my eyes, so I am going to wear the trusty DFS hat again—or none at all. The sprint venue was covered with a layer of snow, so that was partly to blame for my poor performance.
Also significant was the fact that I was not in the right frame of mind. I was listening to the Slate Political Gabfest—not very inspirational; and as I was running, I was thinking how very long it was taking to run the distance. I was trying to push it, but wasn’t totally committed.
The squat machine is slick with snow, so when I do it, I am always leery of my legs flying out in front of me. With the snow possibly melting (the forecast is for rain tomorrow), I will be able to be more sure of myself.
